This office building located in Austin, TX, is the headquarters of a company specializing in luxury aircraft interior design. The West facade features 12" thick walls with a sawtooth pattern to the concrete block, which creates a strong shadow pattern as the sun moves. At the top of the West wall is a clerestory, which funnels light into a parabolic stainless-steel reflector, and washes it down the inside of the block wall. Solar cells on the roof generate electricity. The building is 14,000sf. Other unique features include custom handrails and alabaster light fixtures.
